In the past, I used those CDs to install Office XP Pro on a Gateway Netbook with Win 10 and a ThinkPad T60 with Win 7. And it was that ThinkPad T60 that I recently used to copy the contents of the CDs (setup CD and Media Content CD) to folders on a thumb drive.
But when I tried to launch the setup.exe file of the Office setup subfolder, an error report told me of corrupted files.If I soon contact MS about that and give them the Product Key, is there any chance that they might send me a DVD, upload a setup folder to me, or email a link to a server from which I can download a replacement for the contents of my CDs?-David.
